On a better note...
On a different note than complaining about work... I go back to school (hopefully in January). SP College now has a non-degree seeking program for people who already have their BA in something other than Education... their IMPACT program... http://www.spcollege.edu/bachelors/cert_impact.php. It's a 3 semester program & at the end I'll have my Teaching Certificate. So, in 2yrs I'll be done with place and doing what I initially wanted to do. :oD Current Mood: happy | | 9:07 am |
Irritating...
Why is it that some people look at work as nothing but 8 freakin hours of social time! I know most of us do our share, but for crying out loud, don't we get our work done? And done correctly?? I come in, the other girl has her radio so loud I can hear nothing but MJ's annoying retard voice. And she tries telling me that she even turned it down. Down from what.. Bar music volume?? And then I get tons of crap in my email from her. Those stupid forwarded emails that I've already seen 10 times & I've asked her before not to send. Videos that take my inbox 5min just to download. And then, to make it worse, I swear she spends 1/2 her day on those dumb celebrity gossip sites or surfing the web. Then God forbid someone tries to give her work to do. She whines about never having time. And it wouldn't be SO bad if she did her work (yet, I used to do her job, had more responsibilities than she does now, did it correctly, & had time left over). More often then not she gets stuff done 2-3 days after it was supposed to be done. Stuff that is time sensitive like employee new hires, filing, & such. Then 1/2 that time she doesn't even do it right. OH! I could go on & on... And how many times do you have to tell someone that you're tired of hearing everyone complain about the same person? And I tell her every time, if you have that big a problem, tell her. I've done the same w/her & anyone else in the office I've had an issue with. May not have been pretty, but in the long run it tends to make things run better. I'm just frustrated. And now that I see an end to my working here, it makes it harder to deal with. It's just so hard to stay 'positive' with this high school crap. Current Mood: pissed off | | Tuesday, July 17th, 2007 | | 9:44 am |

Nextel/Sprint
Avoid at all costs if possible... I switched my phone back in February to their hybrid. Since then, I have had nothing but problems not only with my service (it hangs up on me frequently) but also with their customer service. I called yesterday to see why we have to call long-distance from our house to call our cell phones. After 30min + of hold & 3 people later, the girl comes back & starts to tell me my new phone numbers. Uh, I not once asked for new numbers... I was just looking for why & if there were any options. Now, I'm still fighting w/them to get my old number back. They got Billy's back no problem, but b/c mine is a hybrid, they can't guarantee it... WTF is that?! I have now spent 3+ hours on hold since yesterday afternoon... been hung up on twice for no reason (I asked for a supervisor)... and just NOW got my phone working, new number though. Fabric Sale!!
For anyone who cares... the JoAnn's at East Bay & US19 is going out of business. I just picked up $700+ worth of fabric for $242. It's 50-70% off plus if you buy everything that's on the bolt, they take an additional 10% off. There isn't much left, but there was plenty of costuming stuff that I managed to find. Dear Santa, I don't know if you can do this, but for Christmas, I'd like for my mommy and daddy to get back together. Please see what you can do. ~Love, Teddy Dear Teddy, Look, your dad's banging the babysitter like a screen door in a hurricane. Do you think he's gonna give that up to come back to your frigid mom, who rides his ass constantly? It's time to give up that dream. Let me send you some Legos instead. ~Santa
Dear Santa, I want a new bike, a Playstation 2, a train, some G.I. Joes, a dog, a drum kit, a pony and a tuba. ~Love, Francis Dear Francis, Who names their kid "Francis" nowadays. I bet you're gay. I'll set you up with a Barbie. ~Santa

Dear Santa, What do you do the other 364 days of the year? Are you busy making toys? ~Your friend, Thomas Dear Thomas, All the toys are made in China. I unwind by drinking myself silly and squeezing the asses of cocktail waitresses while losing money at the craps table. Hey, you wanted to know. ~Santa

Dearest Santa, We don't have a chimney in our house. How do you get into our home? ~Love, Marky Dear Mark, First stop callling yourself "Marky", that's why you're getting your ass whipped at school. Second, you don't live in a house, you live in a low-rent apartment complex. Third, I get inside your pad just like the boogeyman does, through your bedroom window. ~Sweet dreams, Santa Current Mood: amused | | Tuesday, December 12th, 2006 | | 6:28 pm |

Dionysus 33% Extroversion, 46% Intuition, 55% Emotiveness, 57% Perceptiveness |
Although deeply emotional, you are extremely lacking in self-knowledge. You are somewhat needy, and when bored, may become very hedonistic. Your life is a quest for meaning, above all else. You are most like Dionysus. You are primarily interested in serving others, but your efforts are almost always unappreciated. You aren't confrontational, you're often out of tune with your own needs and unaware of the consequences of your own actions.
You are, at heart, a good person. You are very affectionate, and you are very loyal to your friends and family. You are very reluctant to burden others with your own problems, to the point that this in itself can become a problem for the people who care about you. This is a particular of a more general problem. Dionysus sends wave of ruin throughout his personal life. He is the photographer who seduces his subjects. He is the teacher who seduces a student. He is the art student who paints nonrepresentational splashes of color, he is the poet who rejects meter and content. You seek sexual partners more than anything else (this is to exploit the nurturing side of others to help fill your own void). If not sexual partners, this desire to become the object of sympathy with other people can manifest itself in other destructive ways. Stinkfist by Tool explains your condition pretty well. It's very likely that you haven't had many experienced mentors. You don't want them either, because you're the sort of person who rejects criticism and boundaries, but they're also your only hope for reaching any kind of emotional maturity.
Famous People Like You: John Lennon, Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Marilyn Monroe, Hugh Hefner I'd tell you to stay clear of Hermes, Icarus and Apollo, but you could probably learn something from them. You're least likely to hurt The Oracle, Atlas, Prometheus, and Daedalus, but Atlas and Daedalus won't like you very much. Seek out: The Oracle, Prometheus |

Good Lord...
Maybe 1 of these days my sister will figure out what causes it... Jennifer is pregnant again! #3 will be due late May/early June. Maureen just turned 1 this past Saturday. Josephine turned 4 about a month ago. My only gripe... Michael still does not work, makes no effort to find a job, and doesn't do much for house work (atleast not from what Jennifer says). They are just getting by now w/the 2. #3 wasn't planned though. Current Mood: frustrated |
